Although I don’t know everything, I am writing based on what I have understood from using Google for so long.
What you browse remains on Google, which is called browsing history. Even if you delete your internet browsing history, it will remain in Google’s record. No matter how much you delete the “Till the beginning of time” history from Chrome’s history, Google will continue to do its work. To turn it off, do this…
1.Open your Google account.
2.Go to Account Settings.
3.Click on Accounts and Privacy.
4.Click on Google Accounts History.
5.See if Web & App Activity is written, click on it and pause it.
6.When the confirmation prompt appears, click Yes. That’s it, the job is done!
7.You can also turn off YouTube search and watch history from here.
Google copies all your name, address, DNS address, network location. Deactivate Google’s location history. Turn off GPS if you don’t need it.
Google always keeps track of what you do on the Internet. Which sites you go to, what you buy, etc. Based on that, Google creates a customized search database for you with the help of Predictive Analytics. Then whenever you search for something, you will see that Google has put your favorite things at the top of the search results. And as time goes by, this database will be more useful. Then we can say that Google has understood us to some extent. That is why you will see that if you and your friend search for the same thing on Google, the search results may be slightly different. No matter what people are like, not all the favorite things of two people are the same.
In Google Chrome, you will see that there are two things called Autofill Form and Autofill Password. One fills out the form, and the other saves the password so that you don’t have to enter the password to log in to a site again and again. Many people can’t remember passwords (like my parents), many people don’t want to enter the same thing again and again. This facility is for them. I am saying Chrome because it is made by Google and as far as I know it is the most widely used internet browser. Never log in to a public computer with your Google account except your own computer or laptop. No one will hack your own computer, unless there is a diamond jewelery worth getting there. But if a public domain server is hacked, then everything connected to it falls under the scope of hacking. I don’t know if the writing of this paragraph fits the answer to the question or not, but if Google knows so much about us, then we should also be a little aware.
I am saying another thing. When we shop online, our bank, or debit or credit card information is saved. Many people don’t save it, but many do it, because none of us feel the need to fiddle with numbers or remember a number. So, for our convenience, we also save such sensitive information in Chrome. If you log in to your Google account on the public domain, don’t be surprised if you find that your bank account has been hacked a few days later.
You will see that much of this stored information has gone to Yellow Pages and many other such pages. This is how a lot of a person’s information goes on the Internet. If you are not a little vigilant, it won’t take long for you to get into terrible danger.
Be well.
