How to use leaves in cosmetics!

Apart from adding flavor to cooking, mint can also be used safely for cosmetic purposes. Learn how to use mint to treat acne, blackheads, dry skin.

To keep the skin soft

Mint leaves act as a mild astringent, which helps tone the skin naturally. It removes dirt from the pores and keeps the skin soft and hydrated. Mint leaves are also effective in increasing the blood circulation of the skin. Mix mint leaves with oat powder and rub on the skin. Then wait for 20 minutes and wash off.

 

To remove acne

Mint leaves are rich in salicylic acid and vitamin A, which regulate sebum oil secretion in the skin. People with oily skin are more prone to acne breakouts. The anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties of mint leaves prevent inflammation and heal acne. Apply the paste of mint leaves on the pimples and wait until it dries. Then wash off with cold water.

To remove dark circles

Antioxidants in mint leaves can reduce dark circles under the eyes. Apply mint leaves under the eyes before going to bed. Wash off the next morning.

To brighten the skin

Mix tomato juice and sour curd with mint leaf juice and apply on the skin. Skin will be glowing.
